My fingertips gently caressed the damp, cracked wall. Something about this house wasn’t right. The old wooden floorboards let out a ghastly creek as my feet walked cautiously across them. I didn’t know what I was looking for or even why I came here in the first place but something about this place was entrancing. As I wandered further into the darkness; uncertain what it had in store for me I began to wonder just how long I had been walking in this unchanging corridor. That’s when I came to a door I looked up seeing a sentence etched in Latin reading Spriedums dienā. I twisted the rusty handle and with some effort it opened. Although there wasn’t much light there was just enough to see. I pulled a candle out of the holder on its stand to take a closer look around. I knelt down on the cold floor, looking at a perfect arch made from stone which was now corroded from age. There was a long empty space and as I moved the candle deeper into it that is when I realised exactly where I was. Catacomb. I hurtled backwards in shock shuffling back as far as I could, until I hit something. I slowly turned my head and froze I wished I hadn’t been so foolish as to come here.

A felt a cold hand grasp my wrist. I flinched in pain whimpering slightly as I was yanked to my feet and spun around. I gazed at his face, thirst in his eyes and an almost agitated look. “You shouldn’t have come here.” He said. I looked at him in confusion as he let out a smirk showing off a pair of perfectly formed fangs. I tried to run but he had me cornered.

He pulled me closer to him and tilted my head up. I shivered as I felt his warm breath on my neck. My heart raced as I felt his teeth sink into my neck. Pain shot through my body my vision got hazy then everything went black.
